'No Love, No Mercy' continues the theme of photographic performance in order to explore female sexuality and intimacy. McCaig explores the complex balance of female sexuality, seduction and erotica with a defiant stare back at the male gaze in what she has described as her 'bad feminist' anxieties. Within 'No Love, No Mercy' McCaig uses colour and a dominant female gaze through a lace veil, to convey the power of channeling her female sexuality.
